As a significant activity in the project and following the recommendations of experts and employers, 9 (nine) one-day introductory trainings on BIM-methodology in the construction industry were organized and implemented.
These trainings were attended by 55 participants from 9 companies, and were realized by an expert from the Construction Scotland Innovation Centre.
The contents of these workshops referred to: the basic principles of BIM, through case studies and examples from international projects; display of 3D modeling; the benefits of BIM, the ways of 3D modeling; the importance of cooperation; standards in case studies to investigate the impact of BIM on project costs, time, materials used, carbon and energy savings, etc. In these workshops, interactive methods and modern didactic tools were used (discussions, videos, quiz, online teaching units, etc.). Participants were enabled to use a range of materials from BIM-related educational platforms.
