About the training
For the first time in our country, we organized a BIM workshop that was focused on introducing the basic principles of the BIM methodology and the possibilities of it’s implementation In the construction companies’ operations.
Over 100 participants including civil engineers, architects, mechanical engineers and other professionals interested on the topic, had the chance to get acquainted with the basic principles of BIM and they got an overview of the 3D modeling in BIM and the types of 3D modeling in this industry. They also got to observe the different standards in the case studies and noted the importance of collaboration of all stakeholders in the whole process.

STATEMENT OF A TRAINING PARTICIPANT:
„I want to thank you all for your participation, and UNDP for the opportunity to be part of the project and follow the presentation. I think that the presentation was a great introduction to BIM technology and the possibility of its implementation in the operation of Bortas.
Today we have learned a lot, and for much of what technology offers we were not even aware that it exists as an opportunity.
The standards and principles of work, presented today, are an additional segment whose introduction will require a lot of time and work, but I am sure that with quality training and a desire to improve the processes, we will be able to implement them in our country.
Thanks once again to UNDP and all those involved in the realization of the project!
