Applicants from the construction sector (architecture and engineering) that are interested in following trainings for BIM Technician (Building Information Modeling) are invited to apply for the public call and express interest in participating.
As the call is competitive, Future Skills Center (FSC) will grant only 20 applicants to follow the training free-of-charge. In addition, after selection process will be finished, the grantee will be contracted by FSC to follow 40 school hours of 45 min. After finishing the course, the certificates will be submitted to the candidates that have followed more than 70 percent of the training sessions.
Learning outcomes to trainees:
The course for BIM technicians aims to train participants to build BIM libraries and work on BIM projects. Upon completion of the course, participants will acquire the following skills:
- Will be introduced to the theoretical aspects of BIM technology, how it is applied to projects and its significance,
- They will learn how to build BIM libraries for different disciplines,
- They will learn how to make specifications of elements, equipment and materials,
- They will learn to make work templates
The course is intended for people from different disciplines with and/or without knowledge of projecting in the field of architecture and engineering.
