ABOUT THE TRAINING
The topics of the two-day introductory training for new professions in the renewable sources of energy sector are hybrid photovoltaic and thermal collectors. After previous analysis on the required skills for the renewable sources sector, that addressed the new job profiles and the required skills for them, we identified two job profiles: Fitter, installer and maintenance worker for hybrid photovoltaic and thermal collectors and also Fitter, installer and maintenance worker for photovoltaic panels, for which we created suitable job standards and programs.
CONTENTS
- The contents covered in this section refer to the basics of thermal energy and block diagrams; The types of solar collectors, the structure of their work and their efficiency are considered. Physical safety at work – technical conditions in the solar system (experiences from Slovenia); Other contents mentioned are heat accumulators, capacity, losses; Elements of the solar thermal system: pumps, expansion vessel, safety valve; Solar thermal systems; thermosyphon, standard solar pressure systems, drainback systems and the like.
- In this part, the participants got acquainted with the accessories for installing solar systems and the precautionary measures when installing solar thermal systems; At the same time, the types of installation of solar systems on flat and sloping roofs, commissioning, control of the solar system after commissioning and measuring equipment were presented (guest presenter Zoran Trajkov, director of Eco Solar, Macedonia)

STATEMENT OF A TRAINING PARTICIPANT:
„The training had a clear vision about the goal and , more importantly, about what benefits would the companies get by discussing the given topics with proven experts from the solar sector. I was impressed by the interaction during the classes and the approach that was used to explain the topics. The event organization was great and both the theoretical and practical approach that the trainers had was focused on real projects and situations. I am positive that a lot of the topics we discussed will be applied to the everyday work processes.“
